Fishers also ranked #5 with a 1059 crime rate per 100,000 people.

Also ranking in the safest cities list is Westfield at #8 with an 1139 crime rate per 100,000 people. On the other hand, the capital and the second largest city in the Midwest after Detroit, Indianapolis, is the most dangerous city in the state with a 6169  crime rate per 100,000 people.
