Mesquite is 2nd safest city according to the latest FBI reports with a 1992 crime rate per 100,000 people.

Coming at #3 is Henderson, the second largest city and home to 291,584 residents.

On the other hand, previously ranked as the 4th most dangerous, Reno comes in as the most dangerous city in Nevada with a 3946 crime rate per 100,000 people. Las Vegas, home to the world’s largest gaming resorts and superstars, ranks as the 2nd most dangerous city with more than half a million residents and a crime rate of 3738.3 per 100,000 people. Elko also makes this list as the 3rd most dangerous city.
