Also, with a 5227 crime rate per 100,000 people comes Buffalo as the 3rd most dangerous city, while Rochester, the 3rd biggest city in New York ranked at #11. The state capital, Albany, which previously ranked at #22 in terms of danger, managed to climb its way up the list and now is at #13 among the most dangerous, meaning an increase in the state’s crime levels. New York City doesn't make any of the lists as it ranks at #136 in terms of safety.
